This is the image for the news article titled 2019 Homecoming Week is HereWith Homecoming (HoCo) finally here, students are ready for an eventful week. Ms. Boone, director of Student Council, states the importance of HoCo is to “rally everyone behind a cause to support our school.” Student Council will host another HoCo dance this year with the theme “Lights, Camera, Action,” and the cost will be ten dollars per ticket. Last year, the HoCo dance was brought back for the first time in years, and the student body loved it. As tradition continues, each day this week will have its own theme. When asked how these days are chosen, Ms. Boone explains, “We determine those days by the demographics of the whole school and the interests of the entire school.” This year’s HoCo week will proceed as follows: Monday as character day, Tuesday as camo or USA day, Wednesday as decades day, Thursday as Hawaiian day, and Friday as blue and white day. There are also several opportunities for the entire student body to get involved starting with hallway decorations on Monday afternoon and ending with a school wide pep rally on Friday. Go Tigers!
