Congratulations to our September Student-Athletes of the Month: Allie Logan and Brady Gray.

Allie Logan is a sophomore and a member of the Varsity cheerleading team. “Growing up and watching my sister get into cheer made me want to start trying it out too in middle school, it's just kind of stuck with me since then.” Allie says in the future, she would like to go to college and pursue a degree in the medical field, but she is unsure on whether or not she will go into veterinary medicine or anesthesiology. When asked who has impacted her academically at Ringgold High, she said, “There are many teachers at RHS that have impacted me academically, athletically, and mentally. Mr. Hensley challenged us daily with the curriculum, but would still let us socialize and occasionally joined in on the goofing off. Mrs. Lane was always certain to go over the information again even if it was just one student who was confused, she's considerate and so kind. In the long run, so many RHS teachers work hard for our education and to help us produce a good future for ourselves.”

Brady Gray is a senior on the RHS football team. He says he became interested in football at a young age because his dad played football in college.  “I have played ever since I can remember.”  Brady plans to attend college and play at the next level, although he is undecided on where he will go.  When asked who has impacted him the most during his time at Ringgold High, Brady said, “I would say Coach Shell has impacted me the most as he has taught me many skills in the classroom as well as in the real world.”
